AUTOMATED CABLE TESTING BEST PRACTICES

Date and Start Time: Wednesday, July 22nd, 2020 - 10:00 AM (Pacific Time)

Program Description:

The focus of this presentation is on the use of automated cable and harness testing best practices. No prior knowledge of cable testing is needed as we will review the basics of Ohms Law, testing errors (opens, shorts, miswires, etc.) and why automated cable testers are used. We will discuss the compliance challenges and build a working knowledge of electrical interconnect test specifications. While a thorough education in these specifications will be beyond the scope of the presentation, our speaker will direct the audience through a series of real case studies involving faulty specifications.
