Program Description:
The choice of vendors is critical to the successful introduction of a new product to the marketplace. This presentation will discuss the important factors to consider for selecting the right manufacturing processes to use for mechanical parts as there is often more than one way to make a part depending on end-use and production volume. Michele will also discuss the alternatives of manufacturing in the USA, near sourcing or offshoring the manufacturing, and provide case studies of different choices.
